What is Knowledge Management in the ServiceNow HRSD module?

Knowledge Management is sort of like a database of knowledge. Its purpose is two-fold. One is to store HR related information in a secure manner. The second purpose is to allow employees around a company to search HR related queries instead of engaging the HR staff over and over again. For example, let's say an employee wants to know the company's holiday schedule for the entire year. Instead of asking the HR staff, they can simply go on the Knowledge Portal and look up this information on their own. This saves a lot of time and effort for the HR staff as repetitive queries are automatically taken care of. So, at its core, Knowledge Management helps store HR related information in a secure manner and allows employees to look up HR related information that they need.
