What is ServiceNow CSM module?

 CSM stands for Customer Service Management. This is a portal where the external customers of the company file their complaints. So far, all of the moules that we've talked about are used by the company's employees to file their issues. But what about the company's customers? People who buy the company's products but do not actually work for the company. CSM is for them to file their complaints. Once a complaint has been filed by a customer, ServiceNow takes care of the rest.

What is Lifecycle Events in the ServiceNow HRSD module?

 Lifecycle Events help an employee whenever a major event in their life occurs. Major event could be something like onboarding (because they accepted a job offer), relocation, internal promotion, paternal leave, offboarding (because they quit) etc.  So how would the Lifecycle Events module help with these. Let's consider Onboarding as an example: - 1. A candidate has accepted a job offer. This would trigger the Onboarding Lifecycle Event. 2. ServiceNow will automatically send them a welcome email and link to the Employee Center. 3. They can sign-in to the Employee center and sign their digital contracts. 4. The system will automatically check for the employee's location and send them tax documents accordingly. 5. ServiceNow will automatically notify the IT team to give them their laptop. 6. ServiceNow will automatically assign them an office and a desk and will also prepare their security badge. 7. The system may also push a few articles on their Employee Center portal for e.g...
